If you knew me in High School...

...we would have probably been friends. I always look a great link up and this one is perfect for a walk down memory lane. Today I'm linking up with Morgan and Libby I actually really liked high school. I had great friends, we made a lot of great memories, we made a lot of mistakes which make us who we are today and we have a bond that no one can ever break. Lets begin with photo overload.

One of my Senior Pictures
Everyone meet me 5 years ago. Avon High School graduate of 2009!

Unfortunately I don't have many pictures from Freshman & Sophomore year because that was before Facebook and lets be serious I got all of these pictures from my Facebook. And I can't log into my MySpace anymore...anyone remember that site?!

Homecoming my Junior year. It's crazy how at that time I thought I was fat and I needed to lose weight. Now looking back on these pictures I see that I was pretty thin.

I loved that dress!! I don't know what happened to it. Someone probably borrowed it and "forgot" to return. Does that ever happen to you?

The guy on the left is my high school sweetheart. We dated all of high school till my senior year since he was already in college at that point.

The big group of girls that had no dates on purpose my Senior year for homecoming so we could all go together.

These were my besties. My partner in crime was Sarah (the girl with the pink). We did everything together, at one point we all even worked together at Bob Evans.

I went to prom my Junior year as well as my senior because I was dating a senior (my high school sweetheart) at the time. I wish I had a picture of my high school sweetheart and I, he wore a camo suit and I wore a hunters orange dress. His idea not mine, obviously.

Halloween my Junior year. We had to be Hooter Girls!

We went to a lot of Cleveland Indians games.

Let the Friday Night Football pictures begin:
I think we went to every single Football game our Junior and Senior year. Such amazing memories.

Washington D.C. - Senior Trip

We had the best time in DC. I could probably write a whole post just on that memory.

Carson and I went to Disney a few times. I don't think I've ever written about her on here before. Everyone, meet Carson. She's my longest best friend. I love her. End of story.

Sarah and I were the trouble makers from our group. We were always at all of the parties and always having a blast. We used to go visit friends at different colleges and always seem to stay out of trouble.

And then we graduated. We moved on from Avon High School, each on our own ways and down our own paths.

My closest group of friends
I cannot believe it's been 5 years since that day.

Her and I still partied all summer before actually going to Ohio University together. Some amazing memories with this girl. I won't bore you with all the details, just know it was amazing.

Later Avon High, it's been real.

HOW WAS YOUR HIGH SCHOOL YEARS?
DO YOU MISS THEM?

Invest

This quote is more important than any other quote right now. Throughout this past summer a lot of changes have happened in my life. The decision to end my relationship with the man I thought I was going to marry was one of the hardest decisions I've ever made. There is nothing scarier than walking away from the person you saw yourself walk down the aisle towards. That decision has become the basis of every other event since then.

I decided to move out of my parents house and finally live on my own. It was another huge step but it was something that needed to be done. I wanted my own space, I wanted my own bills and my own responsibilities. I knew that moving out would keep my mind occupied during the breakup. With moving out came meeting new people. I've been some really cool and really weird people since living on my own.

Since the break up, a lot of friendships have been tested. They have been pushed to the limits. Some have made it through and some just disappeared. Girls and guys that I thought would invest their time in me and my needs at that moment of weakness and sadness but I saw that almost no one came to me. This past summer was a huge eye opener of who is true and who isn't.

I've learned to only invest my time, emotions and love into the people that truly want me in their life. I've learned to not always be the nice girl. Sometimes I just have to stand up for myself and invest in the right people. These people are new people that came into my life and old people that I didn't appreciate as much as I do now. Lesson learned my friends, lesson learned.

Can you relate?
Tell me your story.

Little Secrets - Confessions

I love these confessions link-ups, I like reading peoples confessions about their little secrets or crazy/lame things they've done. So I guess I'm up for the challenge, judge away if you may. I've done and said some really dumb shit lately but hey I'm 24 so why not.

1. Oh hell yeah, I need a day between Saturday and Sunday. Shit after this past weekend I need a day between Sunday and Monday. Between drinking, boys and staying up too late I've been exhausted.

2. Words cannot explain my happiness that it is September and then it's going to be October. I love the cooler weather, all them skanks need to put clothes on because it's going to be cold outside. Pumpkin spice latte get in my mouth and Pumking beer get in hand.

3. Need I say more?!

4. I'm trying to lose 10 pounds and tone up. So part one is changing my diet. And I'm trying to get in the gym. These 10 pounds better get off of me if they know what's good for them!

5. I wish I had beautiful blue eyes like my mom. Her eyes are out of this world, and I am so jealous. Talk about a hottie.

6. On Monday evening, after drinking all day, my man friend and I thought it was a great idea to put up my lights on my balcony. Thank goodness he didn't fall from there. Being on the second floor and him standing like that probably wasn't the best idea but hey it happened.

Confessions

Do you like lights on balconies or patios?
How do you feel about September?
Have you ever done anything crazy while drunk that could have put your life in danger?
Do you like Pumpking beer?

When in Vegas...

Do a lot of shopping and not that much drinking. Or at least that's what I did. My parents and I made a trip to Vegas because my mom had to get surgery done out there. I know I know, kind of random to have to go all the way out there for it but this guy specialized in what she needed done. If you want to know more about what she had done, ask me and I'll share. If not, then that's that.

We flew with Southwest and this was our first time using this company. Not too shabby. We got snacks which is always a plus when you are flying.

and of course I had coffee. How cute is the stir thing with the little heart!?!?
Talk about an amazing view.

I've never been farther west than Chicago so it was very cool to see this time of climate.
We did a lot of shopping at Caesar's Forum Shoppes. They have the most amazing stores in this place and it makes you feel like you are outside.
For those of you who know me, know that I have an obsession with fine bags and shoes. So this was the place for me. I adore Louis Vuitton bags and Christian Loubutin shoes.

Last year, my parents bought me my first pair of red bottoms and it took me about 3 different online orders to get a pair that I thought would last forever and the right size. Needless to say, I never got the size right though online shopping so I bought mine from Neiman Marcus in Tampa. I wish I would have known that there are TWO Loubutin stores in Vegas. I was so tempted you have no idea!!!!! Do you love shoes and/or purses? Which brands are your favorite?

I am a BCBG whore. I love their dresses and I don't mind paying the price for them because they are so classic and good quality. I tried on these three dresses and I ended up buying one for a wedding on Saturday. Come back next week to see which dress I bought for the wedding. Which one is your favorite?

I've been dreaming about this purse for years. And as a surprise gift from my parents, I had to choose between this purse or the Bianca Red Bottoms. I had to choose the purse. What would you have picked?

I adore the shoes but I love the purse more. I think these shoes are a good 25th birthday gift, what do you think?

I needed a new bag to use as my day to day bag that had a shoulder strap since my LV's don't. I fell in love with this Michael Kors bag and I love the blue in it.

I have an issue.

Our last night in Vegas, we went to dinner at The Buffet at the Wynn hotel. Personally, I thought it was pretty pricey for what you got. For dinner it was 50$ a person but there was a lot to choose from. During dinner we saw a gentleman and his wife walk in. She went and got him food while he talked to one of the managers. This gentleman also had two bodyguards in suits sitting at a table near by. All of the servers and staff looked like statues when they saw this gentleman. We thought he was a big deal since everyone acted the way they did. After the gentleman left, I asked our server who that guy was. Come to find out, it was Mr. Wynn. So ladies (and gents) we had dinner next to a billionaire. Yes with a B, BILLIONAIRE!
Vegas was pretty freaking amazing. I'm already planning a trip with friends. This time I spent too much money on clothes and purses. Next time I think I'll be spending more money on alcohol and partying.

The rest of the weekend was just a complete shit show. I drank too much and partied too much but hey isn't that what holiday weekends are for?!?

Can we just take a moment and stare at my man friend's eyes!?! You should see them in real life, holy moly.

Shirt: Express (Similar) Pants: Victoria's Secret (old) Shoes: Christian Loubutin Purse: Louis Vuitton

We enjoy going to places that have craft beers. This place was amazing, we've been here before but Sunday was the best time we've had. The door was open to the patio and there was a fire going. So we could smell the fire while we had fall beers. I had my favorite Pumpking beer which has way too much alcohol (8.6%) and he had an Oktoberfest beer.

Amazing view from Shooters.

On Monday we went to downtown Cleveland to watch the air show. One of my man friend's friend live in an apartment downtown so we went there for drinks and to watch the show from their rooftop. The view was amazing, sorry I don't have any good pictures. I kinda of gave up on taking pictures and just focused on meeting new people and making friends. This was the first time meeting a lot of my man friend's friends. Talk about nervous, and girls are kinda bitchy when a new girl comes into the "group".

Everyone, meet one of my best friends. She's really cool and fun, I promise. She's just kinda different at times. haha shes's going to kill me when she sees this on here.
