Weekly Wishes #1

Since I am still new to blogging I am thankful for Bloglovin since I can find different blogs I am interested in. Today while looking around Bloglovin I came across The Nectar Collection and I decided to link up my first Weekly Wishes.
1. Get my schoolwork in a good spot. I need to get this down for two reasons: my sanity and graduation. I have 4 (huge) different group projects to get done before Thanksgiving and 2 30 minute presentations and 1 10 minute presentation all before I graduate (December 15)! I am stressed to say the least and I feel as I work on these projects a good amount but nothing gets done. So this week, I need to get 3 out of the 4 projects in a good spot. Wish me luck on this one...I really need it.
2. Stay on track with the gym. Last Sunday (Nov 3) I started my plan of heading to the gym whenever I have some free time and making sure I am eating healthy. Last week went good, I got in the gym 5 times! So I really want to stick to this to really make a change in my lifestyle.

Wish me luck with these two Weekly Wishes!

In the spirit of "hobbies", the picture for the post shows my favorite thing to do which is travel. I swear there is nothing better than visiting a new place whether its a new city, state, country or continent I just love to travel. I read travel books, I follow travel blogs, I am obsessed with the Travel Channel, and I use any excuse I have to see a place I've never seen before.

  2. Yay! A newish blogger like me! I look forward to encouraging each other as we try to stay motivated and I will definitely send well wishes your way with your gym goals. The only reason I run is if there is only one slice of cake left at a party. :)

    1. Thank you for stopping by! I was doing so well with posting everyday (almost) and then I took a few days off (more like 4 days off) so I need to stay on track with blogging. Haha I used to hate running and I would only run if someone was chasing me but now I'm starting to like it....it's almost like a stress reliever. I just hope I stay on track with this whole working out and eating healthy. I'm going to see My Guy for Thanksgiving so that is my motivation!

  3. Hey ! I love finding new blogs !!!! :) My name's Zauni & I stumbled across your blog while lurking over on Melyssa's blog.

I love her weekly wishes linkup ! It was the first link-up I ever did when I started my blog, and it helped me meet so many new people.

Congratulations on graduating!! December 15th is so close - I can't imagine how it must feel to be so close to being done. What is your major?

Hope you're having a great week!

    1. Thanks and welcome to your first link up! Honestly, I used to hate working out (I secretly still do sometimes) but I see it as a time dedicated to me. Throughout our days, weeks, months and years we devote so much time to other people (family, friends, neighbors...you name it) as well as other events so I want to take time out of my day or week to have some "me" time and to focus on myself. I hope you visit back often including every Wednesday for Workout Wednesday!

    2. Workout Wednesdays sound fun :P Taking time of your day or week for some "me" time is definitely good. I should think about doing that :)
